The Kenyan Crisis Multimedia Dispatch, a photo-documentary I put together on the post-election violence using the music of cellist extraordinaire, Zoe Keating, will show on the big screen along with other multimedia works on human rights issues at the Geneva Film Festival and International Forum on Human Rights (March 5 to March 14). The address in Geneva is:

I will be present at the opening. My understanding is the reception is not a public event, but information is available on the festival’s official website about entry fees, accreditation, and access for the duration of the forum and exhibit.

Zoe Keating has kindly allowed me to show the Kenyan Crisis piece which I made using her amazing music. It will be screened at the following locations:

March 5 to March 14 2010 : Geneva Film Festival and International Forum on Human Rights.

March 15 2010 : Montreal Human Rights Film Festival.
May 12 to May 16 2010 : Exhibition in the New York Photo Festival
September 1 to September 31 2010 : Exhibition in Montreal together with the World Press Photo 2010

Expo Nippon

I was unable to attend last year’s exhibit in Japan, but here are a few pictures from the two previous shows. In 2007 they showed my photographs from Afghanistan and Iran as well as some watercolors I made, and in 2008, photos from my Kurdish documentary project.
